On iFanboy’s Video Podcast this week they interview Mark Millar about several of his projects.  Of most interest to me was what he had to say about the upcoming Kick-Ass Movie: · It will be a shot for shot adaptation of the comic · It will be as violent as the comic if not more so, according to Millar · Millar and Matthew Vaughn have intended it to be 2 movies all along I’m very excited about this because I have been loving the comic.  The best thing about the series is the extreme violence that is so real it becomes surreal. I don’t love everything Millar does and if you watch the iFanboy interview you get the feeling that Millar is going to become the Stephen King of the comic world.  It seems like he approaches his creator-owned material with the intention of getting it made into a movie.
