(via craytonc) Wow.  When I was 6 or 7 My Dad brought home a VCR just like that one.  I remember my dad reading a newspaper ad to my Mom about a place down the street that was actually renting movies on VHS and Beta.  My younger brother and I were running around the house bouncing off the furniture and screaming with excitement at the thought of my Dad going there and coming back with a copy of Flash Gordon, which had just come out on tape.  If you wanted to buy your very own copy it was about $99. FLASH AHAAAAA!!!  SAVIOR OF THE UNIVERSE!!!
